Apple QuickTime Support file: Conferencing

Question: What is an QTC File?

Have you found, downloaded or received an QTC file, but don't know which software program is required to open it?

Before attempting to open an QTC file, you'll need to determine what kind of file you are dealing with and whether it is even possible to open or view the file format.

Answer: Files which are given the .QTC extension are known as Apple QuickTime Support files: Conferencing, however other file types may also use this extension. If you are aware of any additional file formats that use the QTC extension, please let us know.

How to open a QTC file:

The best way to open an QTC file is to simply double-click it and let the default assoisated application open the file. If you are unable to open the file this way, it may be because you do not have the correct application associated with the extension to view or edit the QTC file.

This file format was added to our database by a visitor to this site, but no additional information was provided. We have yet to investigate this file type further, or there was not enough information available at the time to report accurately on the format.

Please check back soon for more information as we are constantly updating our file descriptions based on search frequency.

Tip: Try to open the QTC file using a text-editor such as Notepad, as many file types contain simply contain unformatted plain-text and can viewed correctly using this method.

I just downloaded Quicktime 7.6 Free Download for Windows XP, and when I attempt to open it, it comes up with a screen that says.. Quick time player has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

I found the following info if it will help

Event Type:BEX P1-Quicktimeplayer.exe P2-7.60.92.0
P3-496279cc P4-Quicktimeplayer.exe P5-7.60.92.0
P6-496279cc P7-0000130d P8-c0000409 P9-00000000

If anyone knows how this can be resolved I would sure appreciate it.

Thanks very much and have a great day!

Hi, I've done exactly what you did. And the same crash with the same message error appear. BUT! Quicktime crashes only if I double-click on the .mov files, not if I'll open MOV files with Quicktime.

P.s: I'm using quicktime pro
