PLE files are part of the Windows Messenger Live Plus! suite of file formats that can be used and exported by the program. PLE files contain text logs of the conversations that are recorded by the Windows Messenger system and can be opened and read by Windows Messenger. However, other programs are not easily able to use these log files due to the encryption that Windows Live Messenger uses when it exports the files and must decode when it opens the log files.

Well, i have password protected chat logs, and password protected preferences, which was pretty stupid of me. I want to be able to get into my old chat logs but i can't remember my passwords. Is there anyway possible for me to do that?
