EXE4J files are settings files that are used by an application called EXE4j, which creates windows executable files from JAR files. These files may contain settings such as the splash screen dispay, options needed at compile-time, Java invocation options, and other executable information. EXE4J files can be created within the application wizard, or via command line, if EXE4J is installed properly. Any EXE4J files require a successful Java Runtime Environment installation
